Terms of Service

Representation & Authorization

The Client confirms that they are the owner and/or have the authority to consent to a repair of this device. TyFixIt LLC reserves the right to refuse to provide The Client with any services for any reason, including but not limited to, if TyFixIt LLC determines or suspects that The Client is not the owner and/or the authorized user of the device. The Client also confirms that any data or software that TyFixIt LLC may come in contact with while performing services, is not confidential or proprietary to The Client or any third party.

Repair scope

The Client authorizes TyFixIt LLC to perform any services that they (TyFixIt LLC ) deem necessary for the device being checked in, including but not limited to repairs and diagnostics. The Client acknowledges that these repairs may affect changes to The Device that may be permanent and irreversible. TyFixIt LLC may use new, rebuilt, reconditioned, or refurbished parts or components, when original parts are not available or cost-effective. Services may include repair and diagnostics on The Device and, if applicable, the operating systems and software applications stored on The Device. Any service that will incur a cost or fee will require The Client to agree to pay that service before it is performed. If The Client cannot or refuses to pay after the service is provided, The Device may be held by TyFixIt LLC until it can be paid for, or until abandonment occurs. All replaced devices, parts, components, boards, and equipment will become TyFixIt LLC property, and The Client waives all rights they may have to the replaced Device or repaired or replaced parts.

Manufacturer’s Warranty & Quality of parts

TyFixItLLC services are not provided as part of the original manufacturer’s warranty. If The Device is under any applicable manufacturer or other warranty, The Client acknowledges that TyFixIt LLC services may void that manufacturer’s warranty. While TyFixIt LLC will explain the difference in thequality of parts offered it is ultimately the client's decision for the finalchoice. You agree that you understand the quality of the part(s) that you willreceive. Please understand that certain parts offer no warranty and the client taking that risk by selecting that quality part

Labor fees

Please understand that I do provide aservice that allows you to bring a part in, and I install it for a labor fee (Iam not responsible for if the part is working or not and you will be requiredto pay regardless). Depending on the task at hand the labor fee can be anywherefrom $35 to $125. Labor fees will also be applied to customers who are unableto pay within the 14-day period. Legal action will be taken if you are unableto pay the labor fee.

Payments

We accept most forms of payments including credit cards, debit cards, cash app, apple pay, invoice, and Zell just to name few. Please understand that you are required to pay the agreed amount after are pair. If you are unable to pay the agreed amount after installation, I will remove the installed part, and you will still be charged a labor fee. If you walk away or drive off without paying, please understand I will seek legislation against you as it is your responsibility to read my policies before doing business.

Invoices

You will be invoiced for things such as upfront fees and mail-in repairs unless you can pay in person. This option is available for people who are not in the area to give them a payment option or for people who want to pay online. Please understand that if the invoice is not paid, I will not ship your device back. If no payment is made 14 days after the fix, I will remove the newly installed part and you will still be responsible for paying the labor fee I establish.

Abandonment

TyFixItLLC will contact The Client when their services have been completed and The Device is ready for pickup. The Client acknowledges and agrees that if, despite TyFixIt LLC efforts to contact them, The Client fails to pick up The Device or otherwise arrange for its return for more than sixty (30) days, following the completion of repairs or diagnostics, The Device will be deemed abandoned and will become TyFixIt LLC property, subject to all applicable provisions of law. In such an event, TyFixIt LLC may dispose of or otherwise utilize the abandoned property in their sole discretion by applicable provisions of law, including the sale of the abandoned property, proceeds of which may be used to recoup administrative and repair costs.

Warranty Exclusions

This Warranty does not apply to services or repairs performed on Devices that have been exposed to moisture or liquids following the completion of TyFixIt LLC services. This Warranty does not provide coverage for Devices that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, damage due to external causes or an Act of God, normal wear and tear that does not affect the original manufacturer’s intended use, battery leakage, or damage resulting from battery leakage. Furthermore, this Warranty does not cover defects resulting from any action by The Client, including but not limited to handling, physical damage, operation outside of design limits, improper repair by someone other than TyFixIt LLC, or unauthorized modification. This Warranty does not apply if The Client's Device shows evidence of tampering or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion, electrical current, heat, moisture, or vibration, or as a result of improper specification, misapplication, or other operating conditions outside of TyFixIt LLC control. This Warranty covers the following software Services only: factory restores, and backups. This Warranty does not apply to Devices with software modifications performed by someone other than TyFixIt LLC following the completion of Services, including without limitation updated software, use of unauthorized or unapproved software, viruses, malware, spyware, or attempts to modify any software that TyFixIt LLC has installed. This Warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to Devices on which the serial number has been altered, defaced, or is missing.

Warranty Procedure

If the clients device Or replacement device or replacement device is defective, it must be returned to a TyFixIt LLC store or service center for evaluation by TyFixIt LLC, and the client will be responsible for any applicable shipping costs. If upon TyFixItLLC examination, they determine at their sole discretion that the parts or repairs used in the services were defective, or in the case of a replacement device that the replacement Device is faulty, the device will be repaired or replaced at no cost to The Client. If no TyFixIt LLC stores remain open& operational, then the warranty becomes void. TyFixIt LLC Lifetime Warranty covers any needed replacement parts & labor in the event of an error and does not cover a refund or monetary compensation. Any potential refunds may or may not be authorized at TyFixIt LLC's discretion.


Mobile services

Any distance over 20 minutes will require a nonrefundable security deposit of $30(this will come out of the total price). If the client is unavailable upon arrival, they will be fully responsible for making another appointment with an additional $30 nonrefundable security deposit. For devices such as consoles, laptops, MacBooks, etc., where the repair cannot be done from a mobile vehicle, the customer can pick the device up from where it was repaired.

Warranty Terms

The repairs and parts used in TyFixIt LLC services will be warrantied for the device's lifetime unless expressly stated otherwise (For example, aftermarket AQ7 screen has NO WARRANTY). This applies to any complete repair in which non-consumable hardware was replaced, where a brand-new part was used (Examples of consumable hardware: Joysticks and Lithium-ion batteries), on a device without signs of liquid damage or corrosion. Any completed device repair that does not meet those qualifications will receive a warranty lasting ninety (30) days from the day of repair completion.

Privacy Policy

Sometimes I may require your name, email address, or phone number to resolve any issues. If you scheduled an appointment, provide assistance, and answer questions. Your information is confidential and at no point in time will I see your card information when using the invoice system. I do not sell or give away anyone’s personal information for any personal gain.

Pick up times

Please understand that I am not a storage unit. There is a 30-day period for you to get your device. If the device is not picked up, I will consider it abandoned and I will have the right to sell your device to recover the service prices. You will be billed $30 a month after the30-day period until your device is picked up for storage (assuming it hasn't been sold or recycled).
